Frequently asked questions

Can I really study in Dubai without IELTS?
Often, yes. Many Dubai universities accept applicants without an IELTS score via their own internal English test, Duolingo, or a Medium-of-Instruction (MOI) letter proving you studied in English. We tell you exactly which universities accept your profile without IELTS before you apply. Always confirm the final requirement with the university.
How much does studying in Dubai actually cost?
Undergraduate tuition at Dubai's international branch campuses is typically about AED 45,000–90,000 per year (prestige campuses can be more). Add the student visa and Emirates ID (roughly AED 3,000–7,000 all-in), mandatory health insurance (~AED 1,200–2,500/yr) and living costs. We give you a transparent, all-in figure for your chosen university — try the cost calculator.
Do you charge me for your help?
Our core admissions guidance and placement is free for you — the university pays us a recruitment commission when you enrol. Any extras (like an arrival/settlement pack) are optional and clearly priced.
Who sponsors my student visa?
In the UAE your accredited university sponsors your student residence visa. We guide you through every step — offer letter, entry permit, medical fitness test, Emirates ID and stamping — but the visa itself is issued by the UAE authorities through your university. We are not an immigration agent; official information is at u.ae.
Is a Dubai branch-campus degree the same as the home university?
Yes. Branch campuses such as Heriot-Watt, Middlesex, University of Wollongong or Birmingham award the same degree as their UK/Australian home institution, and are licensed by Dubai's regulator KHDA. We only work with accredited institutions.
Can I work while studying, and stay after I graduate?
You can work part-time (around 20 hours/week) with a work permit and a university NOC. After graduating, you can apply for a 1-year post-study residence visa (renewable), and high achievers may qualify for the 10-year Golden Visa. Rules change — we'll point you to the current official requirements.
