Your Working Holiday does not include health insurance

In Australia, an emergency, an accident or a single day in hospital can cost you thousands of dollars out of pocket. OVHC (health cover for temporary visas) covers you for the weeks or months of your stay — and here you get it in minutes.

🔎 We don't sell a single insurer — you compare and you choose

Independent comparison: several insurers and prices in one place ✓ Pick the plan that suits you and sign up online ✓ Medical, hospital and emergency cover during your stay ✓ Pay by weeks or months — only for your time there ✓ You have no Medicare cover, so this matters

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is the Australia Working Holiday (417)?
The Working Holiday visa (subclass 417) lets young citizens of the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland travel and work in Australia for up to 12 months. You apply for it yourself with the Department of Home Affairs. Always confirm the current rules on immi.homeaffairs.gov.au.
What is the age limit for each country?
The subclass 417 age limit is 18–30 (inclusive) for the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway, and 18–35 for Denmark and Finland. You must meet the age requirement at the moment you lodge your application. Always confirm the current limits on immi.homeaffairs.gov.au.
Is there an annual cap or ballot?
No. The subclass 417 has no ballot and no annual cap for the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, so you can apply any time of year — there's no waiting for places to open. Just have your documents ready and lodge when you're set to go.
Can I get a 2nd or 3rd year?
Yes. To be eligible for a second Working Holiday visa you generally need to complete 88 days (3 months) of specified work — for example in regional Australia — during your first year. A third year requires 6 months of specified work during your second. Always check the current specified-work rules on immi.homeaffairs.gov.au.
Do I need to prove English or have a degree?
No. The subclass 417 has no English-language test and no education requirement, so there is nothing extra to prove on those fronts. Confirm the current rules on the official site.
Do you apply for the visa for me?
No — we are an arrival and settling-in support service, not a migration agent. You lodge the 417 yourself with the Department of Home Affairs. We make your arrival easy: pickup, housing, SIM, bank, TFN, resume and job search.
How much money should I plan for?
Home Affairs asks for about AUD 5,000 in funds. Realistically, plan a buffer for your rental bond + first month's rent and living costs until your first paycheck (Sydney is the most expensive city).
Can I pay in EUR?
Yes — the packs are charged in EUR via Stripe. Some cards block international payments by default; you can enable that in your banking app.
